High Springs

In a place as small and dusty as High Springs the library is a happenin’ place. Many of the local kids get off the bus at the library instead of home. They spend hours playing on the computers and joking around because, for a lot of them, no one is home.

These photos were taken before Michelle Obama was our first lady. That day, I wondered if these photos would be either pretty valuable or just another snap shot of the political machine in action. Today I still don’t know the answer.
